The relocation of CDW’s headquarters to Lincolnshire, Illinois was a monumental undertaking. Staff from three different facilities were brought together in this 209,000 RSF project which included connecting two buildings with a newly designed three story sky bridge and redevelopment of a shared ground level atrium space to act as the primary building entry point. The design style is both fluid and organic, the plans incorporate new and creative collaborative areas, and the space achieves a high population density without compromising an individual’s need for private space and unique geographic identities.
